Indonesia and the United States (U.S.) will establish cooperation in the sector persepatuan by providing benefits for each country. One of the advantages to be gained by Indonesia, the U.S. will send a ‘guru’ for the shoemaker Indonesia. Deputy Trade Minister Mahendra Siregar said the cooperation between Indonesia and the U.S. will be woven by the Indonesian Footwear Association and the Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America (FDRA).

It is delivered by the Chairman of the Association Persepatuan Indonesia (Indonesian Footwear Association), Eddy Wijanarko told a news conference at the office of the Ministry of Commerce, Eddy added, with the cooperation will be established this, Indonesia can knowledge about the demand, design, quality, and raw materials suitable for the U.S. market so the shoe Made in Indonesia can enter the U.S. market sometime in the future.
