I didn’t say socialism was “intelligent”. I said Howard Beale was intelligent AND a socialist/liberal. I included the social/liberal description to further differentiate him from Glenn Beck.
Personally, I do not fully subscribe to any political party or ideology. I try to analyze every societal issue as it comes up on its own terms. I don’t want to be a slave to a third party’s views.
@Silverwire100 Socialism is not ‘intelligent’. In fact, it has produced some of the greatest bloodbaths in human history. You see, you don’t realize the same people wind up on top anyway. Just look at the history of it…Stalin, Mao, Hitler (Nazi stands for National Socialists), and modern day despots like Chavez. Not to mention the fact it is bankrupting European nations who are practicing a milder form of socialism. There’s not much incentive to work/produce if the government picks up the tab.
