Network

Author :

A movie made 30 years ago that perfectly describes the situation today about television, news, and the main stream media. It resonates louder and sounds truer today that it did when the movie was made.

Isn’t the media more left leaning?

I think the only thing wrong here is that he implies that not reading the newspaper is bad, but nowadays newspapers are plain shit just like tv!!

Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp is the second largest media conglomerate behind Walt Disney. They’re not among the top 20 but they’re among the top 200 largest corporations. And we know everything that comes out of Disney and Murdoch’s company is brainwashing propaganda!

This movie WAS going to be a great movie. But unfortunately it had to be contaminated by hollywood/zionist/jewish BS propganda of MGM (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer), the movie studio that financed it. I am talking about the finger-pointing at the A-rabs that occurs in the movie, as if the A-rabs were the source of all ills.

For some reason, everything zionist jews touch, it seems to become contaminated with BS, falsehood and propaganda, be it movies, music, news, medicine…etc.

Rocky was a terrific film, it’s just unlucky that it was nominated in the same year as this classic – which now stands the test of time more than ever.

This scene is just riveting, as is Peter Finch

    What a terrific performance!

Imagine if this was a real news anchor! – we’d be glued to the screen!

@sysxtreme You are very sadly mistaken. I’m yet to come across any conspiracy theory that makes any logical sense. It’s always the same thing: Big event happens, small people get blamed. People have trouble believing that people that unimportant could cause something so big, so they come up with a bunch of bullshit that the government is out to get us and the news is controlling your mind.

@sysxtreme i know, i did that yrs ago

@HarrisonRocks On the TV u’re forced to watch what they want u to see. On the Internet u can choose to see what u want. U must be open-minded and filter information to get the truth. Do a basic search on the conspiracy theories and u will find a lot of real facts. Almost all conspiracy theories are real. Very soon the Internet will be censored, so be quick on your job.

    Peace!

I’ve already turned it off :D

    Television is not the truth!

@kirk7524875248 Kierkegaard- what book did he write that in? All I have read of his is “Sickness unto Death” and I thought he was a complete moron! A first class fool! But hey- he WAS a Christian :)

    Viva Montaigne!

@alfred38uk if you don’t know any better- what kind of choice can you make? The people who watch fox entertainment channel and mistake it for “news” are not in a position to be able to make informed decisions- and we ALL suffer as a result of their fear and stupidity.

    Viva Shakespeare!

@dcamaggots The philosopher Keirkegard (I don’t remember how his name is spelled) wrote something similar. Something to the effect of, “If you’re reading this now and you understand what I’m saying, stop reading, immediately, now. Don’t read any further. Just go out and live your life!”

Just watch the BBC,it is full of leftwing claptrap and we are forced by fear of imprisonment to pay for it. At least with fox news you can choose to pay for it

Words that ring more true today, Then they ever did before. Anyone who watches way too much TV should give this a listen. 4 minutes long, even has video with it. Give it a try, but only if your going to listen. :P
